One of my fondest memories from summer camp was when they brought out the record player for dance night. We’d dance to 70s and 80s hits in the mess hall, completely carefree and filled with joy.

Dancing has always been a passion of mine—though I’m not a professional, it’s just pure fun! It’s a great way to unwind, get some exercise, and connect with others. Some of my favorite memories from conventions and weddings are the moments spent dancing.

I’d heard about Silent Disco before, but it wasn’t until Matt and I went on our honeymoon cruise in January that I finally experienced it. We grabbed our headphones and joined the dance floor, and the first song that played was September—a wedding classic! We quickly realized there were two music stations, each marked by red or blue lights on the headsets. You could switch between the two or match your color with someone else. When Journey came on, everyone sang along, and it didn’t matter if you were off-key because the only way to hear it was if you took off your headphones. It was hilarious watching a whole room of people dance and boogie down, yet everything was silent. From The Twist to Pitbull, the music kept us laughing, dancing, and meeting new people. I was hooked.

When we returned home and people asked about our honeymoon, the Silent Disco was definitely one of the highlights. I became a little obsessed and started thinking about how I could bring this fun experience to others. I was already creating a fun space for summer camps and classes, but why not add Silent Disco too?

Silent Disco offers a unique opportunity to dance and have fun in a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment—without the typical bar scene. Most of our events will end by 10 PM, so you can enjoy the night and still get home at a reasonable hour to rest up. It’s a fresh and increasingly popular event where people dance to music broadcast through wireless headphones, instead of a traditional speaker system. Only those wearing headphones can hear the music, making it perfect for venues with noise restrictions. It’s also a great way to create a club-like atmosphere while still being able to have normal conversations.

Silent Disco is a fun way to celebrate birthdays, school dances, youth group events, and client appreciation parties. It’s also a fantastic fundraising opportunity—just ask us!
