Sourdough Class

  • The Social Hub 840 South Larkspur Street Meridian, ID, 83642 United States (map)

Let’s make sourdough bread together! Through hands on practice and demonstrations you’ll go from start(er) to performing the first stretch and fold on your first loaf of sourdough bread.

Each participant will also take home an active sourdough starter & dough that they can use to bake their own loaf at home.

Join me for a 2.5 hour course on all things sourdough.

You'll learn how to feed and maintain a healthy starter, make & perform the first stretch & fold for your loaf, & score & bake your bread.

You will receive:
Sourdough starter
Ingredients for 1st loaf
Danish whisk
Jar cloth
Bowl cover
Bread Lame
Recipes

Things you'll need:
Large bowl
Any Sourdough Questions you'd like answered

*It is recommended that each participant have a Dutch Oven at home since everyone will bring home dough to bake later. The lodge 5.5 quart cast-iron Dutch Oven is the best & most affordable one that I have found. You can find it at Walmart or Target for around $40.

**Registration covers 1 participant. While the class is non-refundable, I'd be happy to transfer your registration to a friend or family member if you're unable to make it. Just let me know who will be taking your place.

This is a hands on class, so come prepared to get a little flour on your clothes and to put your hands in the dough.

Tickets are limited to keep class intimate. (Limited to 8 spots)
